Katipa's awesome adventures in the land of wellington

Kia Ora Bloggers.
Welcome to…“Katipa’s awesome adventures in the land of wellington”
Once every two years, our Principle Jane Lindsey would show a very special piece of action to the year 7 and 8s by taking us to Wellington to see outstanding sights, like the REAL treaty of Waitangi.
Sadly I cannot list all the places we went to on the post, so check out this DLO for more information (still working on it).
Anyway, I personally loved the trip because it helped some of us socialise with people we don’t talk to that much. The other reason was it just helped us to refresh ourselves from all the hardworking we do at school. What I’ve learnt from this is to be grateful for what people do for you whether it’s something small like making your lunch for school or something big like taking you to the museum. NOW I am ready to take on school work once again. BYE.

DUFFY'S LEGENDARY ADVENTURE THAT MADE HIM A "LEGEND"

Last week, more people from the duffy book community came to Paihia School.
So far I think it was our third visit…
The storie’s topic was about someone called Duffy being trapped in a game called magic bricks, then going on an adventure to try figure a way out. Here’s the DLO to tell you more about Duffy’s adventure along with the game.
This was so far the coolest story the duffy community has introduced to our school, because it was very creative and imaginative.
Their planning on the background was very well executed.
What I’ve learnt from this is, to always be creative and to always follow your imagination because it can help you get a lot of unique/interesting ideas to help entertain your audience.

KATIPA'S LEGENDARY ATHLETIC SKILLS

Every Wensday afternoon and Friday after lunch, our school does athletic training.
We do this once a year to train for the real athletics.
What? You don’t know what athletics are?
Well, athletics is basically a series of sporty activites (NOT SOCCER OR RUGBY), the activities we perform are high jump, long jump, sprints/relays, shot put and discuss.
And we do it in groups. I’m in group four.
HERE’S THE DLO ABOUT THE ACTIVITIES.
My challenges were discuss and high jump.
Sadly, I didn’t get to do Shot put or Long jump last week because we had some interferences, with the weather.
My specialties being sprints/relays.
What I’ve learnt from this is that even ANYONE have their own weaknesses, but it’s always good to try, so next time I do Athletics training I’ll try more harder.
