On week 7 we went to the beach to clean up. When we got there Mrs Lindsey gave us rubber gloves so when we pick it up our hands don’t get dirty. We found dirty cans, dog toys and I think smokes. After the sand we went to the grass to pick up rubbish. Then along the way we found people and they had rubbish by them. After that we made our way back to school. We went through town, to the grass, above the bridge, then along side the school field and then to class. The end My reflection is now I know what the difference about recycling and rubbish. Recycling is something that you can use again. Rubbish means it’s nothing you want.

Bird Feeder

Hi I’m Katipa from Paihia School this week we had to present our oral language about our own bird feeders . First Shirly helped us make the bird balls then we had to put it into the freezer to harden it up and then we took it out and put them in bowls and got some ropes to make them hang onto the trees .

Avletics

Yesterday my School went to Bledisloe for Athletic day I liked only Long Jump and the 400 Metre Race I came third to last it was a pretty good run, I didn’t like the rest of the games but at least my Mum was proud of me.

Floating Egg

My class made thinglinks about our science stuff my one was called Floating Egg the science behind it was that the salty water was heavier than the plain water that means you have to put the egg into the salty water to float.

Word of Maths

Hi I’m Katipa from Paihia School and My challenging activity was Drop Zone I found it a bit challenging and  I think we had to find the area of the rectangle .
